Doreen is a former Chef , Culinary Art Instructor, Mental Health Therapist, Art & CraftTeacher and Business Owner.
She currently works as graphic designer and a freelance writer and copy editor for a South Florida online publiction.
Her professional writing career began 4 years ago when she opened a center for creative arts in Georgetown, DE. When the Center closed, she decided to pursue a full time writing and arts career .
All avenues of creative development and professional training have brought Doreen together with children of all ages and their families. She has worked closely with them to provide counseling and training to improve relationships through creativity and personal development.
She has developed various creative art programs that target children at risk and has implemented the programs in schools, treatment facilities, family homes and treatment facilities.
